Our newest pet ID tag was inspired by the television show, Glee! What we came up with was a spoof of the show, but with a unique doggy twist.
After consulting a copyrights and trademarks lawyer, we named our design “Doggly Pet ID Tag” (admittedly, “Doggly” was not our first choice for the name but we could not use the actual name of what we were spoofing). We also had to avoid any direct references to the show’s characters, so we came up with some innovative ways to indirectly parody them.
Imagine a show called Doggly, with some cute and talented show dogs:

Hopefully, most fans would be able to work out the real life inspirations from the show dogs.
Now, pet lovers can order their own Doggly pet tag, with their pet’s photo and name against a background color of their choice (we offer 8 fun colors). On the back, we print the pet owner’s contact information.
